Bread Obsession

I have been meaning to find a quality bakery that had authentic, flavorful and real bread. I found it at Bread Obsession in Lexington! I've tried all their loaves and loved them all. The pastries are also absolutely delicious and not overly sweet. My absolute favorite bread has to be the flaxseed rye. It is full of flavor and possibly some of the best bread I've ever had. I also highly recommend the Lexington sourdough. If you are looking for high quality bread I highly recommend Bread Obsession!

Best baguettes around and now under the new owners they have added many new and delicious treats. If you like olives you have to try their olive sourdough bread - what a standout! Packed with olives and wonderfully chewy. And sometimes they have mini loaves so you won't feel guilty when you are driving home and need a bite because the yeasty aroma is too good to ignore. The chocolate almond croissant and blueberry muffins are great too. How lucky are we to have this gem in our town. And the people working there could not be nicer - props to Davine for her front of house management. And the new extended hours are a huge help.

Absolutely one of the best bakeries I’ve visited in Massachusetts! The baguettes are exceptional — perfectly crusty on the outside and soft on the inside, just the way they should be. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients in everything they make. The service is warm and professional, and the atmosphere makes you feel instantly welcome. A true gem for anyone who loves authentic bakery products. Highly recommended

We moved nearby recently and Bread Obsession has become a staple place for us to get food from! Always fresh tasting and with a variety of options to choose from, we’ve been very happy with every visit and purchase. The muffins are definitely my favorite!
