This is truly one of the best meals we've ever had. Every bite was delicious. Our lovely server, Rese, was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful at selecting our wonderful dishes. We can't wait to come back to try the tasting menu. We would love to bring our parents but we're worried that the music would be too loud.

Incredible tasting menu with inventive yet authentic flavors from across Asia. The care and attention to each ingredient, sauce, and layer of flavors is rare. Worth a trip for the chefs counter.

A truly stunning meal. We ordered the agedashi tofu, cucumber salad, green curry, spicy pork stir fry, and for dessert we got the sesame donut. Everything exceeded expectation, and our expectations were high! We will certainly return. Delightful service from Jess and Dustin.

This place is truly special! I do believe i enjoyed the BEST dining experience of my life at the Chefs Counter. Chef Phillip creates amazingly delicious flavors that blew my mind! We enjoyed ~14 tastings that were all phenomenal. One of my favorites was the grilled oysters (and I really dislike oysters!) There was also a vegan dish that was bursting with flavor. I'm from Southern California and would expect this level of restaurant to be in any big city, not in a tiny town like Carlton, OR! I will be in Oregon again next year and Ikigai is the first stop I'm making! Don't hesitate, make the reservation at the Chefs Counter. It's worth EVERY PENNY💙
