IHOP

On a recent road trip, while stopping to take a break from driving, my current side chick and I spotted an IHOP near the exit ramp. The aroma of hot, delicious pancakes and coffee was in the air. Seeing the IHOP logo was very comforting, and the clean outside appearance of the building seemed to be inviting us in for a spectacular breakfast meal. Upon entering, we were greeted by friendly, welcoming and attentive waitstaff with smiles on all their faces. The coffee was hot and absolutely delicious, with the waitstaff keeping my cup topped off. My side chick ordered orange juice, pancakes, scrambled eggs and hashbrowns. I had a bacon avocado ranch burger and it was very good. My wife had a turkey melt sandwich and a side salad. The salad was large for a side salad and was excellent. She also liked the sandwich. The place was busy but not horribly so and the staff was attentive.

We stopped in at the IHOP at exit 17 on I-84 on our way to pick up the boys from Goose Pond. This was by far, the greatest experience for customer service out of any and all places we have been. So, of course the pancakes were great, but I gotta tell you about the server, AJ. This guy needs to be teaching people how to serve. He knew everything on the menu and he had the follow up question about side items. And I asked for extra butter and he actually brought extra butter. That's a big thing for me because most servers forget. Just go and hopefully you get AJ as a server and you'll see. Okay, I got that out. Here's the bad. 1%milk. Seriously, thankfully they leave half and half on the table. That's my one "bad" thing. Not really bad, it's more a personal issue. But dude!! The service was

Service was great. I ordered bisket and gravy combo. I didn't have homemade expectations. But gravy and the sides were not hot , warmish at best. Maybe it was a fluke, I don't know. It wasn't busy and at the high price they charge I at least expect hot food.

First time at an IHOP. Absolutely loved it. Service was top notch. Food was awesome and delicious. Ran up a pretty large bill but it was worth every penny. Took a lot home. Ordered both breakfast and lunch items. Everything was absolutely great! Would highly recommend this IHOP to anyone looking for great food and friendly service.
