Lori's Corner Kitchen

Stopped in for lunch after being on the road for a few hours. The staff are friendly, and very nice. The food was delicious, I had a BLT with cheese and the bacon was so tasty. We also had a burger that was cooked perfect. They also make home made muffins. There is also Lori’s Ice Cream, but it was closed for the season. It was a week day we came in, there were a few locals at the counter. One thing I love about diners are the colorful local customers, they will start up a conversation with you and always a good source of local information. Plenty of parking.

Extremely slow moving and paced. Everything took forever. Cash only makes it difficult but they have an atm. Food is alright nothing memorable. Bacon wasn’t cooked enough and neither were the potatoes. Ordered over medium eggs and when the waitress served them she said over easy. Nobody claimed their dish then she guessed “over medium?”. We were waiting for one of our guests side of toasts for quite some time after all the food was delivered. Free coffee refills nice and steaming hot decent coffee too. Not enough toppings for the pancakes you pay extra for: for example we were lacking on the chocolate chips and bananas.

Stopped here for a quick brunch. As we arrived the restaurant started packing up however; service was quick, food was really good & served hot. Also nice sized portions. We will definitely be going back!! Thank you!!

I wanted to give a shootout here because they are wonderful and accommodating people, and the food is fantastic. Yesterday we were with my 3 year old who has autism. He is usually very well behaved in restaurants, but he got upset because we tried to cut up his food. He threw his plate on the floor with his waffle and the plate broke. We were incredibly embarrassed, but the staff were very kind about it and even brought us another waffle, which I wasn’t going to ask for. I wanted to thank them again for being so understanding and for cutting it up for him beforehand. As for the food, my peaches and cream French toast was delicious and my husband loved his omelette.

We drove there for breakfast this morning because of the mostly good reviews. The food was blah. The service was almost non existent. The place was also not very clean. I accidentally put my purse down in a puddle of dirty water next to the table and that water appeared to be coming from a leak in the wall. The establishment is also located at a gas station. I do not recommend.
