Nurnberger Bierhaus

Five stars from us! The facility was decorated like a true German tavern in Munich. The staff were courteous and fun. The food and bier was so tasty! We drove 2.5 hours for dinner and will do it again. Prosit!!

The service was very slow. We ordered potato pancakes as an app and it took about 20 minutes for them to come out after asking several times. Potato cakes were very small, hard and overcooked. The Beef Goulash was tender but had no flavor. The Pork schnitzel was extremely thin and also hard. We were regular when they were in Staten Island. Something was lost here. I will say it was a large establishment and the uniforms matched the theme.

Food was really enjoyable, our server (Jean) was great fun, and beer selection was what we’d hoped for. We really were hoping for a strong German feel, and they delivered. We had four generations with us, so being in the far room was helpful since it was quite loud in the main area. Overall, loved the atmosphere & eats. Visited a year ago by myself since I was in the area for work…everyone loved it. Will eat here again this vacation! (Follow-up: we ate there for THREE dinners...win!)

Absolutely delicious. We tried two different schnitzel, paired with the potato pancakes which were perfectly krispy. The sauerkraut was seasoned well.

What a great place in the woods!!! The service and atmosphere are perfect. Lots a of scape and cool things to see. The food is really delicious with lots of options.
