Ice Cream Cottage

My family and I visited the Ice Cream Cottage on Friday, August 1st, and enjoyed our experience overall. Hershey’s ice cream never disappoints, and the quality was excellent. However, it was disappointing that the shop does not allow samples before purchasing. Offering free samples is a common industry practice, especially at this price point, and would greatly enhance the customer experience.

Pretty incredible ice cream place. The ice cream is INSANELY GOOD. (Mint and moose tracks are my fav, MAN it’s good.) very, very nice people, good atmosphere! Good place for right by the lake!

Ice cream was good. Service was awful, the workers are very rude and act like it's an inconvenience helping you.

A lovely little ice cream shop next to the water, they had a verity of flavors. The place was clean and the employees were professional. And I liked the Cow print painted in the cabinets. I was treated kindly, they made us feel welcome.

My wife's family has been coming here for 20 years. I wasn't going to get anything until I saw they had soft serve. I asked for a large bowl of it. The girl barely filled it up, then gave me an already partially melted bowl of ice cream. Whatever. Then we paid. $4.80. are you serious? Okay never buying that again. Wasn't going to complain. This isn't why I 1 starred this place. It was the way the staff treated us later. 2 minutes later the family is eating, and we see my brother-in-law eating his. It was bigger than mine, and it was a small. Still soft serve. Okay I guess I should talk to the manager even though ours is basically done. She denied what I said. She told me they always weigh it before giving it to you and it would have been 8 oz. I told her no one weighed it, and to be fair t
