Ice Cream Barn

Very nice ice cream and great selection of flavors; nice people too.

Yesterday, we traveled with a group of friends for almost 2 hours to the Ice Cream Barn near Chestertown. Unfortunately, we did not check the hours of operation before we left so they had just closed before we arrived. They were sufficiently gracious to re-open for us. Their flavors were both unusual (using locally grown ingredients) and were delicious. They were the epitome of southern hospitality. They spent time with us telling us about their operation and history. If you are looking for great ice cream and wonderful people, we STRONGLY recommend the Ice Cream Barn!!!! Ben & Jerry's look out! You will have strong competition from the Ice Cream Barn!

What a great place...met the owner had a great conversation, small world 🌎 Ice cream was out of this world 🌎 We found a new place for home made ice cream... Yes, we were the 5 people on motorcycles!!! We will make this a favorite stop! PS loved the black kitty, she was adorable..

Sampled 3 flavors while in Chestertown for a week... Toasted Cherry & Chocolate, Strawberry, and Lemon Cookie... You will not get better ice cream... Part of family farm operation... Made on-site.

Absolutely amazing ice cream. Wonderful hospitality. Love the authentic atmosphere. Great value. Will definitely be back again.
