Hunter House Bed & Breakfast

Dan and Sallee were very gracious hosts for our quick one night visit. Our queen bedroom was very comfortable and spacious. The entire property was meticulously, clean and neat. We appreciated having time to chat with them on the porch and over breakfast. The inn is located in a nice quiet neighborhood.

This is a clean, quiet B and B located a couple blocks from Madison's main street. The owners were lovely and did everything they could to make us feel at home. It was very relaxing having morning coffee on the front porch overlooking the quiet street, and breakfasts were superb.|For those with pet allergies, be aware the owners have a couple friendly doggies.|We will definitely stay here when we next visit the area.

Lovely B&B and lovely owners. Cute historic home with vintage-decorated rooms. Breakfast was delicious and with lots of variety. We were lucky we had a slow day and so we could stay for a long chat with the owners during the breakfast, an adorable semi-retired couple with a very interesting life experience. The breakfast and the conversation were the highlight. The house common areas are very pretty and cozy, especially the parlor and the patio. I will definitely return, when I'm in the area visiting family. For LGBT travelers: we went as a gay couple and we felt 100% welcome.

We stayed the first weekend of 2025. The bed was comfortable and the bed linens were nice and soft. Beautiful historic house and wonderful host and hostess. Dan made an awesome breakfast each morning and we enjoyed our conversations during breakfast. Highly recommend this B&B. We will be back!

Wonderful location for the area; plenty of parking, friendly and helpful proprietors, comfortable accommodations. Great place you will be drawn back to after your first stay.
