Bob's Restaurant & Catering

Great local spot. Great burger, hot and fresh ground beef, not a frozen patty. Service was great, waitress was on it. Drinks were brought and a refill was brought before the 1st was empty. House made ranch was cold as well as good. Brought my side of pickles with my meal, didn't have to ask again. Part of the dining room is right across from the grill, old school diner style. Loved this little spot. Very reasonable prices as well. Breakfast menu looked pretty extensive as well. Breakfast would be great here I'm guessing, but anything like my lunch... on point!

Moved from Pennsylvania To North Carolina 2 months ago and was considering moving back just because of the food This little diner had the best home cooking I have ever tasted. Even better then the Amish cooking I have experienced. Small and homley place place. staff was friendly however once our order was taken and food was served we never saw our waitress again She never came back to check on us or ask about refills or dessert (which we were planning on having) but we sat there for a good 10 min after plates and sodas were finished before deciding to head out. But aside from the lack of attention from the server the food was worth it and will being us back.

Found this place on Google maps on the trip home. Can't beat country cooking so decided to give it a whirl. Very cute inside qith a game of old collectable items on the walls and hanging. The folks inside sound like I do... think southern NC accent and just good down home friendly folks. The food was delicious! We had the fried chicken for our meat. The batter was SO good.. crispy and salty. The chicken was done and didn't hold grease under the batter. I had black-eyed peas and could taste the ham hock. The macaroni salad wasn't really mayo based to my surprise and was delicious. We were so happy we found the spot on our backwoods drive home and felt welcome.

Never had anything bad there! Whether you want home cooked or short order food, Bob's has what you want. Get the Taco Salad with the Ma Sauce!

First time here. I ordered a hamburger, hotdog, fries and two teas.. charges me 23 dollars .. it bothered me so much I called back .. she said rhey made a mistake .. I could come back for the refund of 4 dollars … Sorry but 19 bucks is too much .. I know prices have gone up , but my goodness ..That being said the staff was friendly ! That is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1
