Customer Reviews
Went here in November 2024 for drinks and appetizers based on a recommendation from a local. Turns out they were recently voted one of Bon Appetit's Best New Restaurants! The atmosphere was "chic 1980's" to the max, including the bathroom. The four of us sat at the bar and I ordered a glass of the Pet Nat, while my friends ordered cocktails. We shared the smoky eggplant dish and only ordered one thing because we were kind of hopping around the city that night trying bites from different places. They had a unique wine list but I wish they had a wider array of by the glass offerings. Overall the vibe was great-would go back!
My first review was maybe too mean. This place absolutely does not live up to the hype or expectations. This meat and cheese plate is potato chips with crumbled provolone slices and a few shavings of prosciutto served with a bowllll of mayonnaise lol The environment is tacky imitation of basic 80s pop art and the room Is tightly packed with tables, and loud. I would not recommend this place and I was definitely mislead by all the positive reviews, I don’t know what these ppl are talking abt. We left before our other dishes even came out
This was the second time I did the “Indecisive Snacks” (like a feed me menu), and I was not disappointed! Their food is all unique and flavorful. Some things I wouldn’t normally order or even think I’d like that ended up being so tasty. The set menu is $65 served family style and they really give you a lot of different things with plenty for everyone to leave full!
We did the indecisive snacks tasting option and would highly recommend. It was all delicious and unique. Can't wait till we get to go again already and we just got home.
We loved this spot. A place with some seriously amazing fair without taking themselves too seriously. A very lighthearted and nostalgic space with genuinely welcoming and attentive staff made the vibe extra special. Everything we ate was delicious as well as the cocktails but the star of the show was the grilled pastrami, absolutely delectable. Can't wait to go back!
