Hungry Burd

A little gem in burdett! Their brisket chowder is excellent, the flavor just exploding with every bite. Chicken pita is made with fresh ingredients and the perfect amount of feta. You can tell the pita is homemade! The wings are more bbq than medium and they are a dry rub 👏🏼👏🏼 I can’t wait to try more of the menu! Staff was pleasant and very personable.

This past September we were looking for a brunch spot to stop at before heading home to PA and found the Hungry Burd which was only 10 minutes from our Air B&B. After reading the reviews and looking through the menu we knew we had to stop, and we are so glad we did! The food and service were 10/10! We walked in on a Sunday with no reservations and were seated right away. After placing our orders, our drinks and food came out within 15 minutes. Highly recommend you stop in for some great food and fun atmosphere! You won't be disappointed ☺️

The atmosphere is very welcoming and that starts as soon as you walk up to their front door. The restaurant itself is open and comfortable with seating for both small and large parties. The menu has a varied mix of classic and somewhat unique dishes, which I very much enjoyed. The food is made with quality, fresh ingredients and arrives quickly. The waitress was so nice and attentive. The fish tacos were amazing! The salad bar had healthy options and was well stocked (after 4pm). They serve a delicious coffee made by Overlook Coffee Company and are very generous with refills. I will definitely be visiting this hidden gem again!
