Not Hunan, but Basic American-Chinese Fare The name of this place is misleading. We came expecting the fiery, bold flavors of Hunan province in China, but instead were served Cantonese cuisine. It’s a bit like walking into an Italian restaurant only to discover you’re being served German food. Once the initial disappointment faded, we judged the food on its own merits. What’s offered here is basic American-Chinese fare—familiar staples prepared with an abundance of grease and lacking fresh, vibrant flavors. If that’s your preference, you’ll enjoy it, but Hunanese cuisine it is not. This is a counter-service-only establishment, and most customers seem to order their food to go. I have tried this place a few times, I have heard good things. But for me it's hit and miss, sometimes pretty good and sometimes it seems old and dry. The rice is ok but usually dry, the orange chicken needs more sauce, the hunan chicken was good and the sesame chicken was on the salty side.

The best home cooked Chinese food in all of Sonoma county. Huge servings, on top of a gigantic selection of entrees - some infused with incredible veggies and some not - but there is something for everyone , and some ! The potstickers are HUGE and are amazing- authentic and home cooked, as well as the egg rolls . The staff is extremely kind and always in a good mood. Oh, and the best thing, it’s affordable. The plates are huge , the quality is top notch and the price is affordable - my go to spot.

If you've never tried this place your missing out. It very affordable and delicious. It's a pick a box and your items kind of place. Staff is great and they give generous portions.

The BEST Hot and Sour Soup around!! I literally crave it! Food is made fresh and super fast service.
