Customer Reviews
This was our first visit here. Our waiter was awesome. The food was served quickly, it was hot and delicious! This restaurant is beautiful with an amazing atmosphere. One person had Chopped Steak with a loaded baked potato and a side salad. She really enjoyed her meal. Another person had a Phily Cheese with fries. He loved the sandwich. I had the Old Country Chicken with baked sweet potato and fried okra. It was delicious. The okra was served in a cermic bowl type container, which kept it very warm! It is located on the old square of Oxford, AL. We recommend this restaurant.
Decent hamburger. Tasty chicken appetizer. $4 for the tiny salad is a ripoff. Burger beef was dry and bland. Mayonnaise ingredients are toxic garbage: corn syrup, soybean oil, etc.; come on people. Too much chlorine in the water.
Pretty good service, bartenders got confused about who was serving me though. Fish was good and cocktail also was good
Wonderful little restaurant in the heart of town. Fabulous breakfast all fresh and local. The waitress told us about the history of the town and that the building the restaurant is in use to be a piano store. Definitely a must if you are in the area.
The restaurant was well cleaned and kept up, had a very welcoming atmosphere, while playing very southern music (which I found out to be a live pianist playing) to compliment the southern hospitality meals they had to offer as well. Since I hadn’t tried this place before, I was extremely excited to try this hole in a wall (that stands out from the surrounding stores and restaurants around it), I didn’t know what to expect. I know a lot of people said they were amazing with their services and food but I had to try it out myself. Starting off, our server was very sweet and nice. She helped me with a few suggestions to eat since my friend and I were unfamiliar to the place and we were settled with their famous fried catfish with fries and a chopped steak with mac n’ cheese and collard greens.
