Not knowing this place was affiliated with the original location in DC is an addition to how good that fish was. Omgeeeee!! I haven’t had good fish like this since they closed in NE DC. What a wonderful surprise. 10/10. Try the ribs too! You can smell them in the parking lot as you arrive. I’ll be here every Sunday after church! Check them out.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Horace & Dickey’s Glenarden never disappoints! Anthony Jr. was the best — super friendly, knowledgeable, and made my last-minute catering order stress-free. The fish… come on, y’all already know Horace & Dickey’s is the go-to spot for fried fish in the DMV. Highly recommend!

First time trying H&D. Its located in a small strip center and offers take out and has outdoor seating. On this particular day there was plenty parking but I have driven by before and noticed a full parking lot. Was greeted with friendliness when I approached the window and not just the usual "how may I help you." I ordered the fried wings and mac and cheese. The noodles were cooked just enough and very cheesy. Now for the chicken. It had a nice brown exterior but no crunch. The wings are really large which I noticed more often than not in this area. I bit into the wing and almost gagged and had to spit the food out. Also the meat was undercooked and rubbery. Maybe the wings were cooked too fast or not completely thawed.

I'm always driving past and seeing the smoker going in the parking lot, so today I decided to pull up and check it out! It's just a humble counter service kinda place, but they have some good lunch options, including ribs, chicken, seafood, and various sides. The half rack of ribs was reasonably priced, and a clam shell box of the rib tips made for a generous lunch portion. A side of the potato salad also hit the spot - definitely homemade. The golden BBQ sauce with the mustard flavor was delicious! Seems pretty popular with the locals; it got busy, so if you can, best call ahead for pickup.
