Glenarden Branch Library, PGCMLS

I love this library because it provides everything I need. The computers here are very important and helpful, especially for students like me. As a high school student taking college classes through dual enrollment, I've done most of my college work at this library. My school Chromebook was very limited. It blocked many websites and didn't have Microsoft apps like Word, Slides, or Docs, which I needed for my college assignments. This library has truly supported me. I've been coming here since last winter, and it has helped me learn new things, read books, and complete my work. I'm very grateful to have such a great library close to my home. Thank you!

I thought the number one rule of the line was quiet or at least being mindful that others may be studying or trying to focus. This is by far the LOUDEST library I have ever visited every time I go there. People will be loud having full on phone conversations with no regard for others around and the staff says nothing. Other than that I have no complaints the staff are very polite and helpful but this is a huge issue and rules should be enforced being as though it’s a freaking LIBRARY it defeats the purpose when you come to study or focus on getting something done and you can’t because it’s so much noise

Retrospectively. This library meets the expectations of a standard library considering it is a local neighborhood location. It provides the basics. Access to community resources , computer use , printing , and availability to host meetings in the conference area. However , as many have mentioned , I believe this library should create an area where children are able to utilize the children’s area where it does not interrupt others. I personally have children which I bring with me and it hurts my heart to tell them they should be church quiet for an area designated for them. I personally prefer the Oxon Hill and Hyattsville location but I despise the travel. I do not really encounter loudness at this particular location. The Spanish women who sits at the front desk is rude and know nothing. I asked her multiple questions and she had no answer. She told me to wait for some man. Then I asked her to show me where I could find the printer station and she continued to scroll on her phone.

Nice place to study, good staffs
