Holcomb's Bar B Que

Easy going place to stop on your way. Folks are very nice and friendly! Food is good! I love sitting outside on the wall. But maybe the city would allow a few tables to take the experience to the next level.

I ordered the BBQ plate. The portions were very small. The prices were very high. The stew and chopped pork was good but I was still hungry after finishing. I received slaw but no potato chips, which we traditionally get with a plate of southern BBQ. Also the iced tea was truly disgusting. My sister ordered the half rack of ribs plate but received only 3 ribs. Definitely don't eat in at this restaurant. If you want to have enough to eat, buy your BBQ here by the pound and by the quart and take it home, but expect to pay A LOT.

I've been going to eating from Holcomb's Bar B Cur since I was 5 years old. That was 1983 when my mother married my stepdad Mike Bickers. And every time we would come down to his land down there we would always bring home tons of barbecue and tons of Brunswick too. Today I was at my mom's and found out that Mike was in Greensboro and asked her to call him to bring me home some Brunswick stew she said she had some in the freezer. I skipped to the freezer. I was so happy. I just ate almost the entire container of brunswick stew on its own. I guess my point is you're awesome and my favorite barbecue place, hands down . Nobody even compares.

Our favorite Bar B Q restaurant! Always hot, fresh and moist. We choose the sandwiches, ribs, and coleslaw. Always remember to take home some extras for later❤.

I'm giving this establishment five stars because the customer service was great, and the price was great. I love barbecue, but this one isn't a favorite. It's still good though.
