Wanted something different. Metropolis Cafe was the choice for lunch. My food missed the mark. The gripe I had is the veggies were quite chunky and didn't blend in with the dish. My food had chunky bell peppers and onions, also cherry tomatoes & broccoli. Other than the onions, these were not in the description of the dish. It's just not my personal preference to be surprised when expecting one thing, then receiving something totally different. Overall 6/10. Give them a try, if you'd like. (what I ordered) Schwarma Platter Grilled marinated chicken in mustard, garlic, vinegar, onions and olive oil. Served with tamarind, Tahiti and mango sauce.
Our server, Grace, was very nice and engaging. She gave great suggestions. The appetizers were great. The entrees were delicious and filling. I particularly liked the Moscow Mule, very refreshing. Seven people had cocktails, appetizers, and entrees with tip for $267
I enjoyed my experience here very much! Great service, atmosphere and the Food...it is so delicious!!! The hummus with pita as an appetizer so satisfying that I just wanted to try them all. I will definitely be calling for take-out on the way to the lake.
They had 1 host 2 waitresses 1 bartender. They showed out!!!!! They handled a crowd like it was nothing. I did not see any angry/disgusted faces. Actually saw a few people give a shout out to the bartender for being so attentive to everything going on. And with all the things going on. Our food was good and hot!!!! Perfect!!!!
For this area, the food is really good. Loved the grilled vegetables and salmon. The hummus should have less olive oil. The rice needs more seasoning. Good lamb chops, but they are tiny! The place is so bright like sitting in a diner. Could lower the overheads.
