The Burch x Boathouse

Discovered this lakeside restaurant on Google maps after driving almost 2 hours from home to Greensboro Georgia to eat at a different restaurant that had closed down and had failed to update their web page. I am so thankful that restaurant was closed down and I found this place. The restaurant I found is called Burch and Boathouse. The restaurant is a casually decorated building with excellent food, Superior friendly welcoming service reasonable prices and great views from the interior dining room and the exterior seating pretty much great views from any seat in the restaurant. I ordered the smoked chicken wings and the Thai salad which had a base of kale and other greens. We were so excited for boathouse to open up again. Unfortunately The Burch did not live up to the hype. We visited day 2, stood in line for approx. 20 minutes with only 1 group of people in front of us. Food was ready quicker than expected which was nice. There is no tap water - $3 bottled water only. Pros: The food tasted nice. Flavorful. Cons: Severely overpriced. Small portions. Slow ordering. Counter service. It is the only restaurant near us, maybe that's why the prices are where they are but for us, it isn't worth it. If I'm spending 30-40 per person for food and drinks, I'll be going to Gabby's.

The restaurant was beautiful. Sat on the lake. The food was awesome and the employees were very friendly. We really enjoyed it and would definitely go back. I'm going to visit another area

Came on a really slow day. Really nice location and views on the lake. Everything was just okay. Smash burger was not the best, tasted like low quality meat. Chips were fire! For the prices, it’s ehhhh. You are paying more cause it’s on the lake.

Don't eat before going to the brewery. This isn't any ordinary food truck. The burgers are out of this world amazing. I literally didn't have to add a thing to mine it was so flavorful. The beer cheese was also perfection. I literally couldn't get enough of the pretzel bites and fries that had the cheese poured over them. Get the double burger even if you are only single patty hungry. You are welcome.
