Hilltop Inn

We had an amazing time at the Hilltop Inn. The breakfast was delicious and the other amenities in the home were so thoughtful- snacks, tea, coffee, and Xmas music playing softly on the first level. We stayed in the Murray room and we enjoyed it so much! From the gas fireplace to the jacuzzi tub, and the charming decor. It was in a fantastic location as well. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you to Liz and the rest of the Hilltop team!

We had an amazing stay at Hilltop Newport. The property was beautiful, very comfortable, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We would absolutely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here on a last-minute impulse to spend the day in Newport and were so blessed by the wonderful accommodations we found. The building has the grandeur and grace of its turn-of-the-century construction while being modernized for a comfortable, clean stay. Liz, who manages the property, is kind and welcoming, greeting us upon our arrival and answering all our questions. The rooms were spacious beyond our expectations. And breakfast hit the spot. We will absolutely be recommending Hilltop Inn to our friends visiting Newport. A real gem! Thank you Liz!

We spent a few days here over Christmas. The house itself is lovely and nicely-decorated. Our room was clean, cozy, and quiet. Coffee, tea, and snacks are available at all times, but breakfasts were just OK, maybe slightly disappointing. Also, the common rooms on the first floor were on the chilly side with uncomfortable furniture, so we did not use these spaces, though we likely would have if they were more welcoming. I would rate it a 4.5 if I could, but I can't, so I'm giving it a 4.

Had a wonderful experience at Hilltop Inn. Was cozy and comfortable. Loved the jacuzzi tub and fireplace. Delicious breakfast included a gluten free breakfast when requested. Nice staff. Short walks to downtown, Would highly recommend.
