We stopped for our morning meal and we're impressed with our visit to High Desert. The soup and bread, burrito and muffin were all fresh and delicious. The selection in the store included many healthy, natural choices. This is definitely a place to stop on your travels.

This was a find! So friendly, excellent food, attentive staff, sit in or outside. We sat outside and admired Bisbee. I had an artichoke and goat cheese pizza and hubby had a chicken sandwich from the regular menu. Excellent!!! And the CARROT CAKE! This was our view. We will be back!!!

The ladies working had poor customer service. Rude when I asked if it was the recommended baked goods I heard good things about and told me to go down the road if I wanted to go to the other bakery. Didn’t once check my table and ignored me when I went to pay my tab. Zero stars on customer service. The peach scone was okay.

(See what I mean about walking up and down the hill? In fact, we walked farther up the hill before walking down, to burn off the butter). The cafe also has a small kitchen gadget shop with some unusual items (we found something we nee
