We were intrigued by the banner saying “Ask for a Free Espresso” on a storefront near the entrance to town. I suspected that if we asked, someone would say something like “hey buddy, nothing’s free”. But I was way wrong. Seth (the owner) is so proud and confident of his house-roasted coffee that he gives away espresso on weekends to entice coffee lovers to buy his beans through the shop’s Dutch door or by mail order. I’m not a coffee guy but Sarah loves the stuff and LOVES Seth’s coffees, which he sources from small, sustainable farms and coops in Peru, Nicaragua, Brazil, Colombia, and other coffee havens. Seth is a brimming pot of coffee knowledge and he is happy to talk about coffee as much as you want. I asked if he sleeps much because he has been drinking espresso with customers

Most delicious espresso and warmest personality! ask Seth about any of his offerings and he’ll tell you who grew the coffee beans, where they live, how large the collective/farm is….he probably can tell you the names of the grower! Main business is “just in time” custom orders: Orders received by noon are roasted and shipped USPS Priority Mail, while still warm, on the same day!! Such great coffee! Seth is very knowledgeable about coffee and recommended a perfectly roasted coffee from Tanzania. So glad I found this shop while in Bisbee, and that I can continue to get his coffee online.

My girlfriend and I were visiting Bisbee because it was on her bucket list of places to go to. We were both instantly hooked when we saw the “Ask for a free espresso shot” sign as we are heavy coffee drinkers. This place was amazing and Seth was such a great guy and host to our coffee needs and wants. We tried the Guatemala coffee flavor and it was probably the best espresso shot I’ve had to date. I was sad we didn’t go earlier in the day because we had exceeded our caffeine limit for the day. Good thing Seth was able to hook us up with a 2lbs of 4 coffee flavors: Rwanda, Timor, Peru Norte, and Guatemala which was great because you get to try them all.
