Gardens at Mile High Ranch

Every now and then, my boyfriend and I will get a wild hair and road trip somewhere we have never been. We decided on Bisbee and did some research on where we wanted to stay. I am so pleased we chose Mile High Ranch. The proprietors were incredibly kind and informative about the history of the area. The rooms were ADORABLE and had everything we needed. Bonus: they had a carafe of cold water in the refrigerator. I visited their gift shop and found lovely gifts for me…and James. I highly recommend this spot. It’s beautiful and we couldn’t have been happier. We will definitely be back!

We had the BEST EXPERIENCE!! Henry greeted us right away and we immediately felt at home! We did our check in right there on the porch! We had a fabulous little room with everything you could need for the nights stay and if you didn't I'd bet Henry would be happy to get it! He actually showed us 2 rooms and had we planned on staying longer we would have opted for the one with the all the comforts of home! O and they do have a Honeymoon suite with a fireplace ❤️❤️ which we were tempted with for sure! After we were all checked in and comfortable in our room he left us with the 2 most wonderful walnut chocolate chip cookies he made,they were delicious 😋!!! A very positive experience, as one can tell from the number of stars I gave this Inn. That began with our personal greeting by the owners, cookies in hand. Our "room" was more of an apartment, very spacious, clean, and had every amenity we needed. The location was only a couple of minutes drive from central Bisbee. The large grounds here would be perfect for groups, weddings, family reunions. Lots of outdoor seating and games. Very family oriented, enjoyment for all ages. And the atmosphere created by these owners is so welcoming that you truly feel they consider you as part of their family. I suggest taking advantage of their breakfast offering-for a very reasonable charge they cook it fresh and deliver it right to your room! Henry met when we drove in and handed us a huge the chocolate chip cookie, and I can say it was an excellent chocolate chip cookie. He took us to our room and showed us around, and we were very impressed by the cleanliness and the detail to decorating. Absolutely, A perfect place for us and our 2 dogs. The area around the cabins is just so quaint . Herb gardens ,flower gardens , pond and a front yard with lots of yard games and a huge hammock. Also an outdoor kitchen it's with lots of c team that can be used for special occasions .. Both Henry and Rick were excellent host. The ranch is in a perfect location from Bisbee, where you can go to all the restaurants and shops. Take a good book and there's the most perfect hammock in the front yard that you can just relax and enjoy your whol

This little paradise is an hour and a half away from Tucson. The folks that run it are at least half of what made this the most memorable, delightful stay. It's a little glimpse of whimsy. Do yourself a favor and make time to visit with Rick and Henry. Visit the mercantile. Order breakfast. I recommend the waffles. Best Belgian waffles I have ever eaten. The breakfast bowl is also incredible. I came back from a three night stay feeling completely refreshed. This is north of all the business of bisbee's tourist district, so it's quieter, but you can walk down to join the ruckus at your leisure. Make sure to wander the ranch! Say hello to the chickens, tour the grave yard, and find the secret staircase. We also recommend driving up to the top of nearby juniper hill for a sunset.
