High Alpine Restaurant

Average ski area food at above average prices. This used to be one of the best ski cafeterias in the U.S It was independently owned/run until 2020 when skico booted out the longtime operators. This year the menu was changed to eliminated the German theme. On December 30th there were many out of stocks (rice bowls, baked potatoes). The available food tasted like it came straight from Sysco. The self checkout scanners are also buggy and caused long lines. There was then a prompt for a tip... On the plus side there is a small disabled seating section for those who cannot navigate the stairs (in ski boots) and the views are very nice!

Great place to Hang Mid to upper mountain.

One of if not THE best U.S. cafeteria style mountain restaurant for sure, everything we have tried here tastes delicious! The staff is top notch as well, great customer service.

The High Alpine Restaurant is one of the nicest ski lodges that we have ever stopped by for lunch in the middle of the day during skiing. The food was expensive but very good!
