The Stew Pot

First time back to Snowmass and this classic spot is as delicious as we remembered. The stews and soups are standards and guaranteed to warm up from the slopes. My son got the nachos as well and enjoyed by all. The staff efficiently seated and treated us to a great lunch. Keep it up Stewpot!

We absolutely LOVED this little spot! We had a cup of soup and the peppermint patty cocktail. The peppermint patty cocktail was absolutely amazing! The service was amazing and the views out the window were incredible. It was so good we’re planning to go back tomorrow for lunch!

We were absolutely thrilled! As soon as we discovered this place, we came back every day until the end of our stay in Snowmass. The food is incredible — from the first bite to the last crumb, you won’t leave a single piece on your plate. Highly recommend the old-fashioned beef stew, chicken wrap, and apple pie!

I could eat here every day! Cozy atmosphere, attentive friendly staff, fun bar, and the most delicious food. Daily soup and stew specials - it would take me a month to try everything they have to offer (believe me I’ve tried). Every soup, stew, and salad is incredible. And the chicken salad sandwich is unreal (how is that even possible? Had it TWICE this past visit). Don’t be deceived by the small lower level - there is a larger space (and bar) upstairs. And, a carryout window when you feel like eating in the comfort of your hotel room!

Very friendly staff. Delicious stews, soups, sandwiches, and drinks. I tried the pastrami sandwich with a side of chips and a pickle. I also ordered a “Painkiller” frozen mixed drink with the optional floater. I believe dark rum. Both are very delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The establishment is clean, quaint, friendly, and has local artworks for sale. Highly recommend making a stop here during your time in Aspen Snowmass. Ask about the history of the building :)
