Hideaway Cabins

What an amazing trip we had at the Lazy Moose and Hideaway Cabins! Very accommodating and the host and hostess were the best. Anything we needed (and you don't need much) they were eager to help make our stay a memorable one. We will definitely be coming back! Very close to the Homer airport and to The Spit where all the action is. The beds were VERY comfortable the shower was very refreshing. Unit has everything you need including a washer and dryer....for guests to stay even longer and enjoy The Last Frontier....Alaska. Book your trip as they do fill up during the best parts of the season ...we cannot wait to come back!

We had a great experience at the Hideaway Cabins. We were able to comfortably fit 6 people and our bags. The appliances were all new and it was spotless when we arrived. Teena was very kind and let us borrow a cooler for our fishing trip and sleeping masks for those bright Alaska nights! I also recommend heading a bit further up the hill to get a great view of the Homer Spit!

Just toured these cabins while fishing in Homer and booked a two week stay next year for my entire family. Great space, clean, fully remodeled and stocked. I can just see myself having coffee on the deck. Hope I spot a moose, LOL. Most importantly, great view,ideal location.

Stayed on property for 7 days! Newly remodeled throughout. Fantastic views, great location, awesome hosts and the property is beautiful. The Otter Den unit is my favorite with the high ceilings and panoramic windows facing the water. Highly recommend.

12 years ago in August 2010 we stayed (unfortunately only) for 1 night here. We dont remember much but we still talk about the amazing cake the owners had for us. It was literally the best cake we ever had. So good that my parents didn’t even care when they just found out (while eating the cake) that my sister crashed their car back home. And we remember the dogs name „charcoal“ to this day.
