Hickory Tree Delicatessen

There isn't enough good to be said and this plance.. my family has been going here for 40 years and now that everyone has moved away I will drive the 2hrs from pa to get food from here. My personal favorite are the Joe's but we get everything from thier bread to thier side dishes. Everytime I've been in there the service is great even when the customers are stacked in the place they find a way to help everyone..

Heard about the deli from EVERYONE! Tried the food…. OMG!!! Must have! Sloppy joe’s must have been invented here!!! Everything is made to tour EXACTLY wishes!!! #BigTsaysSo

I came here because Main Street Subs which is best is closed. I ordered the same exact sandwich I was going to get, half a turkey sloppy joe sub. it's terrible here, the bread is terrible and there's just something about it that's different than Main Street I don't know what it's missing. And to top it off they are more expensive.

Out of the area now, HOWEVER, Hickory Tree Deli IS My go-to when visiting my parents in NJ!!! In High-School, Worked at Hasler's Pharmacy, a few doors doors down in the shopping center, just after they opened, Got hooked, for life! Whenever I am in in town - I pack the cooler and order 'many' Sloppy Joes to bring South... Truly-a-Classic - and they do it right, everytime, pure perfection, on rye. BTW: My son bought me two Hickory Tree Deli T-Shirts for Christmas - and I where them proud - especially when out of the country - Y'all ROCK! Whenever the family comes to town - It is mandatory to order a party platter of 'Joes to be shared upon arrival.... ALWAYS A WIN!!! Gonna be back up soon - need to try the Pork-Roll, Egg and Cheese (Not getting into the Taylor.... debate...) But the cooler
