HG Coal Fired Pizza (Doylestown)

The pizza was fantastic. I do believe this is mainly for takeout, but there are tables inside. The place was very clean even behind the counter. The special ordered pizza came out really fast. I think it came out less than 10 minutes after we ordered it. It was cooked to perfection. The staff was also friendly and clean. It is conveniently located next to the Mercer museum and we walked to it in about 2 minutes from the museum parking lot. My only complaint is that the dining area is more of an afterthought. But I also have to say, I did notice the cast metal table legs. Nice touch!

The pizza tasted good, but was pretty under baked and very floppy for a coal fired pizza. Personally I like my pizza to be crispy. The pepperoni was under cooked as well, which gave it kind of an overly greasy flavor. I'll definitely give them another shot though, because, atleast from the case, this pizza looked very good.

Doylestown has some great pizza places and you can add HG Coal Fired Pizza to the list. The staff was very friendly and flexible. I ordered a custom pie of a large White Hawaiian/Veggie. It was delicious. I’m not a fan of pizza crust but HG’s pizza crust was crispy and yummy. If you’re looking for a new pizza place, I highly recommend HG Coal Fired Pizza.

The food here is absolutely delicious, offering everything you’d expect from a spot like this, there’s pizza, cheesesteaks, french fries, and much more. There’s plenty of seating, a pretty big tv for watching sports, and a beautiful art piece resembling the museum just across the road.

This pizza is unbelievably delicious! We're from Philadelphia and, honestly, we haven’t found good pizza there yet. But you guys nailed it! My husband and I are so happy—we were dancing with joy while eating your pizza!
