Fell in love with this place! The vibe is cozy, stylish and full of good energy. We did the 5course menu and everything was insanely good. The team was so sweet, they even brought us hot water with lemon because we were freezing after long walk. Highly recommend for a fun dining or bar night in Seattle!
There are a lot of really bad drinks, food, and vibes at Seattle restaurants that look exactly like this and have almost identical menus as well. Honestly, I have never been to a city where the bad restaurants and bars cosplay so well. Fortunately, this bar is actually really really good. Their happy hour is an infuriatingly tiny window (4-5p), but really really good. 50 percent off of every drink, and 25 percent off all food. We had some of the best truffle parmesan fries I have ever had here. It came with a black garlic aioli that was also incredibly good and left a really strong impression. We got 8 different drinks, if you include a 3-amaro flight, and all of them were storied, complex, herbaceous and delicious. They printed out cute little descriptions with lots of great context to
Great cocktails but expensive, most being $15-17. Good for a date night or special occasion. Can’t speak to the food but did order the cheesecake which was disappointing. It’s basically a small amount of cheesecake filling on top of crust crumbs. Small portion, so not good to share and being deconstructed, not as satisfying to eat as a normal slice of cheesecake. Would return to try more drinks and food, great vintage-feeling atmosphere.
I had a really great date night here! I enjoyed the variety of amaros available. The food was fantastic! We got the wild mushrooms, brussels sprouts and spicy tacos. The food was fairly priced and it looks like their prices have actually come down in the last year which is great in this economy. Ivan gave great service and made delicious cocktails! I’ll definitely be back :)
Herby bold cheeses paired with a bitter orange wine, with a confusing ratatouille lasagna on top? I might as well be an animated rat named Remy voiced by famous actor Patton Oswald in the hit movie Ratatouille. The ratatouille lasagna, although tastes great, is just an eggplant lasagna. Also got the broiled airline half chicken. Talk about airline food, am I right? No. I am an animated rat named Remy voiced by famous actor Patton Oswald in the hit movie Ratatouille. Cant blame anyone but a fly landed in my wine
