Worst place I’ve ever stayed. Rooms are old. Stinky and the bedsheets were full of hairs. Our extra blanket smelled of urine. No breakfast like they advertised. We left in middle of night.

Lot's of potential. I see the vision but it is really rundown and overgrown. One of the gardens is maintained well but the rest are rundown. The peacocks are enjoyable. They definitely are in charge of the property. ||This is worth a visit if you are passing by but I wouldn't go out of my way.

*Brides beware* there was a change in ownership to a Baton Rouge company and the hospitality and service has significantly decreased. They do not care about their brides and their experiences. They will ignore you. Don’t risk one of the happiest events in your life being overshadowed with little care from management.

Went with a group of ladies for an advance. The grounds are gorgeous. Beautiful peacocks every where. The people working are wonderful. So relaxing and a great place to sit with the Lord.

The grounds are beautiful. However, all of the furniture on the front porch was dirty. It would be nice if the furniture was wiped down for guests. We didn't even want to sit outside because chairs were dirty. We stayed in the bridal suite which is room 9. Room was clean but the water pressure in the bathtub was so low, it made it difficult to bathe. Beautiful mirror in room as well. However, it had a huge crack. All of the buildings could definitely use some attention and maintenance. I expected more for what we paid. We will not be returning.
