Lake Rosemound Inn Bed & Breakfast

We are on a bike packing trip through the South, this inn was in a good location for us to end the day. We had no idea how special a place it is! Beautiful grounds, nice room, and welcoming host made our stay there one to remember!

Great place to get away in the woods, yet only 15 minutes from St Francisville, LA. And only 5 minutes off hwy 61! The Inn is meticulously maintained with comfy beds and cold A/C…. Breakfast is delicious! And Jon is the nicest Inn keeper and so willing to accommodate…. And of course the Help Yourself Ice Cream Parlor is adorable! Brought the kids and they absolutely loved this place! The Inn has a pool table, ping pong table, dart board, canoeing, fishing, a paddle boat and even a little beach between the 2 lakes…. We had a fabulous time and are looking forward to staying there again! Thank you Jon! We love Lake Rosemound Inn B&B…

My husband took me here for my birthday getaway. At first I was a little disappointed because the sunrise room we had was more than a little dated and the recreation/ice cream parlor had a weird odor. But the more we got around the grounds and started to enjoy the lake I was won over. We had fun with the paddle boat and enjoyed a swim in the beautiful lake. The bed was comfortable and breakfast the next day was outstanding. The owner was personable and engaging. He let us tour some of the other rooms available for rent and we were more impressed. We enjoyed our romantic time there but will definitely be going back in the spring with the kids.

This is an amazing place. We had the run of the place and it felt like it was our home. Jon made breakfast both mornings we were there. So good! I had morning coffee sitting under a tree viewing the lake. We plan on coming back with our kids and grandkids.. plenty of room for the kids to run and plenty of inside entertainment to keep them busy. I’d like to keep it our own secret but instead I’ll highly recommend it.

This was our first time to visit Lake Rosemound and the inn. Let me just say that it exceeded my expectations. I did not know quite what to expect, but we all had a lot of fun at the beach and riding in the canoe. As for the inn itself, you had the option to be off the grid and play board games, ping pong, billiards, etc. in addition to utilizing his chef's kitchen and eating a lot of ice cream. John was very cordial towards his guests and made a very good breakfast for us. Would definitely stay again...
