The Lodge at the Bluffs

Very disappointed-expected much better accommodations for my $215 per night. There were multiple maintenance issues that needed to be addressed. For example: - Room smelled musty - Toilet had a nasty brown ring in the bowl - Toilet ran every five minutes. - TV had very few channels and most of the channels listed on the remote were unavailable. - Room was on the second floor with no elevator or anyone to assist with luggage (the office is only open two hours a day) so I had to drag my suitcases up two flights of stairs. - Room key would not lock the door so I had to drag valuables down the stairs to the car anytime I left the room - Chairs on the porch in front were covered with bird poop. - All of the doors stuck - Refrigerator froze our food. - Front door doesn’t lock. - Bathroom vent do

Nice relaxing roomy suite. It’s in a beautiful area with tree lined roads. The Lodges grounds are manicured and nice. Bring coffee pods for extras to enjoy coffee on your porch. It’s sad that The Bluff’s facilities are no longer open. I wish they would reopen the clubhouse for meals at least.

Beautiful and quiet neighborhood with nice views and windy roads! Close enough to downtown but far enough for peace and quiet.

Got put in a room with dirty linens and hadn’t been cleaned. Once we reported it, the front desk clerk took care of it immediately. Overall the Lodge needs maintenance. It has great potential but has been neglected. It is peaceful and private. I’m not sure if I would return or recommend it.
