Happy Wok

Today around 12:15ish pm, I ordered pork fried rice and wonton soup. I have yet to eat the soup, I wanted to leave a review on the fried rice alone... I haven't eaten all my fried rice from anywhere in a long time until today. No one around has good fried rice, but now I have a place to go. Happy Wok's pork fried rice, is the very best that I have had, in a very long time. Thank you, I appreciate you guys, my first time in, and I will be back.

New to the area and trying to find 'the' Chinese restaurant can be a task. The reviews here definitely did not help. I ordered twice from here, called in and in person. Both encounters were okay. The food was good. Chicken wings and shrimp fried rice. I'll get it again. The 2nd time wasn't for me, but there weren't any complaints about it: shrimp fried rice and chicken and broccoli combo.

I grew up in New Jersey and moved to Savannah 15 years ago. There are very very few Chinese restaurants in the area that I consider good. We found Happy Wok about a 6 months ago when one of our favorites no longer made great food. We love this place! The food is always excellent, the staff is always nice. It’s great to have awesome Chinese so close to home! The Bone in Spare Ribs are killer, I just wish their boneless had the same flavor. The vegetable fried rice is my absolute favorite!

I am giving 5 stars across the board because this was the only place open on Wednesday night after the snow storm on GA-21 off icy I95 exit. There are atleast 7 hotels that were packed and everything (including Wendy's , McDonald's, BK, Taco Bell, Zaxby's , Bojangles, Waffle House, Agave , and any other place to eat was completely shut down) THANK YOU HAPPY WOK !!! I got sesame chicken , fried rice, boneless spare ribs, and all was delicious!! Highly recommend! Being from NY I couldn't believe how much was shutdown so happy to see their sign say New York Style Take Out Restaurant.

I moved here from up North thinking I’d find lots of good food but to my surprise good food spots are far and few. This place is one of the few! They are never rude when taking phone orders. Food hot and ready in no time. Just wish they stayed open a bit longer on weekends but I’ll take what I can get! I almost always order shrimp egg foo young and wings. They give you whole wings. Hoping they add a few more wing flavors like hot honey and old bay…10/10!
