Customer Reviews
The teriyaki salmon was great. Good portions, nice cut of salmon which was seared to a nice crisp. The sake and sapporo flowed freely and eased me into relaxation on my layover. Prices are reasonable too, for an airport. Would recommend.
I noticed others enjoying poke bowls, sushi, and tempura and they all looked great, so I decided to try the Hachiko Bento with both chicken and beef teriyaki. The chicken was excellent, the beef just okay, and it seemed the gyoza was missing. The portion was large enough for two people. Previously, my order was handed to me with a to-go bag offered, so the service seems a bit inconsistent.
I don't expect much from airport food, but this is the worst airport food experience I've had in years. The food was little more than gas station cuisine with a nicer facade. The Japanese curry was overcooked rubberized "chicken" jerky over a day-old brick of rice. A few shreds of mushy carrots make an occasional cameo, and I found one piece of potato on my last bite. Perhaps there was another hiding in there, but I could only stomach about half of this inedible slop. When this leaves my body it will be more pleasant than the experience of consuming it.
Good food, the beef yakisoba was tasty and the portion was very generous. I also had a bubble tea which was humongous and delicious! Service could have been a bit faster however, and seating is very limited. A bit pricey but that's in line with what you can expect to pay at an international airport.
Food was OK. Everything cooked well. The sauce and marinade in the meat was strong, with the meat itself have minimal flavor. Chicken had stringy pieces of fat throughout. Beef was tenderized to death. Ginger flavor was strong. It's OK and given the other reviews of places at SEA it is probably slightly above the average. Price is high at $18 to $22 ea entree but it seems to be avg for the airport.
