Habaneros Taco Grill #7 (Boulder City)

The Mexican version of McDonald's, but extremely big portions and amazing food! I loved everything here and the tacos were delicious. If any of these locations were near me, I would go there multiple times a week. If you're ever near the hoover dam or Boulder city, check this location out, it'll make your day!

I was actually happy to find a Habaneros while driving looking for a place to eat. We'll, this location is nothing like the one on Fort Apache, which by the way is actually pretty decent. I ordered the Huevos ala Mexicana which should be renamed, Cilantro with overcooked eggs and chunks of raw onion. In not a fan of having cilantro stems and leaves cooked and left in the food. I think they used the egg to hold all the cilantro together. I took a few bites and could not eat anymore. The corn tortillas were rubbery, also inedible. Probably the worst food experience in a long while.

I stopped here for some quick food around 8:45 PM on a Monday night. I never used to have issues at this location, but my most recent experience was very concerning. The lady working the drive-thru (with glasses, lip piercings, and tattoos) was laughing the entire time I tried to order. When she opened the window, she didn’t say anything — she just handed me my drink without telling me the total. Then she stood there silently, staring at me, with the window open. After I gave her my card, she stood at the POS computer but never swiped it. Instead, I watched her slowly start to walk toward the back with my card still in her hand, as if she was going to head into the kitchen without charging it. I honked my horn to get her attention. At first, she wasn’t going to walk back to the register

Very good Mexican restaurant, I recommend you use cash. Portions were very well sized for the price.

Went to Habaneros this evening, ordered a chile relleno burrito. First off the burrito wasn't even hot just luke warm. I used my debit card and saw the 4% surcharge was ok with that. The screen goes directly to a tip screen. I wanted to leave a cash tip which I did. But the lady at the counter reached over and pressed a button on the reader and told me to remove my card. When I got home I looked at the two receipts. One says 11.38 and the debit card receipt says 13.92. I say 2.54 is much more than 4% I wonder how many people they do this too on a daily basis. Unless she added a tip herself not the right way to do business. If you go here I'd check my receipt forsure...This is the last time I go to this place. I'll go down the hill to henderson !!
