Customer Reviews
Really pleasantly blown away at the quality of the food. Everything came out piping hot, water was ice cold, fries perfectly golden and crispy. Service was prompt and lovely. My sole criticism is the entire restaurant was empty of customers and there was no music to break the silence. Other than that, it was a fantastic place to stop for an impromptu lunch-- probably the best gyro I've had since moving from the east coast.
The food is exceptional. It's very much a Mediterranean place, and the vibe is low key. The owner is nothing but kind and gracious, and he can recognize a regular. I've been eating Gyro House for nearly a decade, and I've never been disappointed.
I wanted to enjoy this place more, but the plate was a little lackluster given the price. My partner and I ordered a 25 dollar plate that included a chicken kabob, steak, and a kofta with fried rice and mediocre looking salad. If you live in the area and are looking for some lunch, I understand why this would be appealing. Other than that, I'd steer clear.
Came in for takeout while on a walk. Was welcomed right away & we ordered two sandwiches. The chicken shawarma was our favorite! The kefta sandwich was awesome too but we both agreed that the chicken was just one level above with flavor! Felt extremely local as the host took our order and then he also went to the kitchen to make the food and packed the order, a one man team! We will definitely come back as it was extremely affordable for a weeknight takeout too. Highly recommend this spot!
During my visit to the area, I decided to grab a quick dinner at this place. Opting for the chicken kebab platter and fries, I was delighted to find that the kebab was bursting with flavor, making me eager to order it again in the future, earning a solid 7/10 rating. However, the fries left much to be desired, as they were lukewarm, soggy, and lacking seasoning, warranting a modest 3/10 rating. The restaurant's interior was decent, offering a pleasant ambiance. Although my food took some time to arrive, the scrumptious kebab was well worth the wait. Overall, if you're in the mood for a delightful kebab, I would certainly recommend this place!
