My pizza was baked just how I like it - no brown cheese. As I use a cane, the young man who presented me with my pie went above and beyond and carried the pizza to my car and placed in my car for me. Griffin’s is a go to place for me because their food does not disappoint.
I'm a field worker and stopped here to eat lunch. As many of you know its nice to use a restroom and wash your hands before you eat but they don't have a customer restroom. So that was very disappointing. As for the food it was as expected, pretty good.
Update: I just ordered a LG 1/2 sausage and mushrooms and 1/2 meatball and onion lightly cooked. Perfect....excellent fresh real toppings and was cooked perfectly. Try this place, the reviews don't do justice...good establishment.. Original: I purchased a LG Cheese Pizza and it was good, the sauce and dough were very tasty, however the only reason it didn't receive 5☆ was because I feel they were a little skimpy on the mozzarella cheese. With that being said I have purchased items previously and will continue in the future. If in the area you definitely should stop and give it a try.
Fish and chips was a thin strip of fish inside a giant roll. The fish was so over cooked it was incredibly hard and inedible, I tried. The Wingdings were fried a little better, but instead of a side of blue cheese or ranch it came with a side of warm mayonnaise. Why?? Ten minute additional wait after calling in my order. The cole slaw was good, so at least I got to eat something for my 30$.
We've been here quite a bit. Usually the food is good deli/market food. Subs are usually hearty and the pizza is pretty good. But this is the state of my BLT this evening. This was also the state of the other two BLTs we ordered. I'm still giving them 4 stars as this is an unusual occurrence. They have some amazing peanut butter brownies. But this looks like we have the bottom of the pan of bacon. I would have much rather appreciated a call that said, "we're almost out of bacon, would you like a different sandwich?" Instead of getting this sad thing.
