Great Wall

For over a decade, consistent delicious food! Always prompt and pleasant when we go for pick-up! The garlic wings, curry fried rice, House Special LoMen, Sesame chicken, and Szechuan dumplings are incredible!

WHERE’S THE CHICKEN? Tonight, I ordered two orders of sesame chicken. The chicken was reduced to a size of a pea. The glaze and sesame seeds out numbered the chicken. The chicken was mostly bread and very hard to chew. Customer service was TERRIBLE. After calling the establishment, the man on the phone said the sesame chicken is suppose to be fried and that we cook the chicken fresh. The man said, “We will keep an eye on it” and was unwilling to address the situation. We didn’t ask for anything free but wanted something to be done about it. The guy was very rude and eventually just hung up. Great Wall isn’t “great” at all.

I’ve been getting takeout Chinese food from Great Wall for years. Always excellent food and my orders are filled promptly.

Food was done quick and was absolutely delicious. Some of the best Chinese I’ve had in quite sometime to be honest! We usually go to pleasant valley but will definitely be coming back here for more. I got sautéed broccoli and veg friend rice vegetables were fresh and crisp my husband got the sweet and sour chicken combo and was also impresse with the quality chicken. Which we find hard to come by these days. Good prices as well, overall great good and we’ll be back.

Idk how this place has less than 5 stars. I've been eating at Great Wall for like, 20 years on/off and it is consistently great, fresh, and delicious. I grew up in Queens with tons of great Chinese food, but this is better. While living in Los Angeles, I literally dreamt about Great Wall's tofu and broccoli. No one makes it like they do. It's always my first meal when I come to Hyde Park. And omg those spring rolls 🤤
