Great Falls Library

I was there two years ago I live in McLean so the McLean library is closer but I had a wonderful experience with the manager of the Polish lady she was working there she actually had the master degree library and it was fantastic greetings from Polish American in McLean Virginia but very familiar with Great falls

Grab a coffee and spend some time outside the library. Terrific naturalized meadow gardens tended by the Great Falls Garden Club. Lovely memorial areas, too. Good parking is available. Easy access to walk. Across the street from Sbux.

Great Falls Library is the best public place in our village. I have been a client for 32 years. I have taken my own children, grandchildren, and visiting guests there. Though the library' collection is limited for me, however I use it for access to other sources. It is well managed, and the staff are very curtious and helpful.

I wish this library is open everyday including Sunday. They have excellent staff and great place to visit. We pay toooooo much property taxes in Great Falls, but we don't get any public service, so at least they can keep this library open all days up to 9PM.

Pros: Easy parking, power outlets under each table, free WiFi, clean bathrooms (depending on time of day), study/quiet rooms, computers with internet. Cons: Too warm, stuffy; noisy; everyone speak loudly and children's book section is right on top of the rest of the library (which is small), making for lots of talking and noise when others are here to get some quiet time to study/work/read. Study rooms are too small (only 6 cubicles), and librarians don't ask people to keep the noise level down. It's really annoying!
