Customer Reviews
Receiving a BCI of 87, the Village Grill delivers reliable Mediterranean comfort food with plenty of halal and vegetarian choices, a solid kids’ menu, and approachable prices. It’s not fine dining, but as a neighborhood staple it checks all the boxes: good food, friendly service, and inclusivity. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with indoor seating that feels cozy and an outdoor patio perfect for people-watching in Great Falls. Accessibility is wheelchair-friendly, parking right out front, and gender-neutral restrooms. The menu covers a lot of ground. Halal meats dominate the kebabs and gyros (~31% of all entrées), vegetarian plates are well represented (~16%), and several items can be adapted gluten-free, though there are no codes like GF or V listed—you’ll need to ask the staff.
Delicious food. We wanted a bite after a hike in the Great Falls area and this sounded like a good place to try. There was plenty of free parking and we were seated immediately upon going in. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, with a very relaxed atmosphere. Everything on the menu looked so good so we started off with some appetizers, both of which were delicious. I loved the Shirazi salad, which was delicious and refreshing. The kashk e bademjoon had a great flavor profile and went wonderfully with the pita bread. For my meal I had the chicken shawarma, which was probably one of the best I’ve had. The chicken was so moist and flavorful, with just a hint of cardamom. My wife had the apple orchard salad, and son the gyro Greek salad. This place is a must-try.
Absolutely AWESOME Mediterranean food. We got Tabouli and Dolma (grape leaves) for appetizers, and they were the best we’ve ever had. I did not get a picture of the grape leaves because they were so good (we ate them too quickly). My mom has a cucumber allergy so we had the garlic sauce. And it was great. I had the chicken shawarma sandwich, and I loved it. My parents both got the kabob platter with chicken, rice and salad.
Very clean, friendly, fast, and comfortable. We had falafel, gyro, chicken kabobe, and baklava. Everything was so delicious, especially the hummus. I was surprised at how well the food was presented with how fast it is prepared! Baklava was a little wet for my preference but definitely still within the realm of good baklava. Price was very fair. Worth the stop and will definitely stop in again if ever in the area!
We absolutely loved this place! The Baba Ganoush was some of the best we’ve ever had and the lamb kabob was tender and so delicious! Highly recommend!
