Standard Chinese food that hits the spot for takeout. The crab rangoon is a must-try and the General Tso's is a good choice. The fried rice and wonton soup were average. There isn't really any space to sit and eat as the tables are covered in kitchen supplies, and various materials from the workers, so plan to take your meal to go!

Ordered a lunch special great price specifically asked for white rice got some poor excuse for Chinese fired rice tasted like latin yellow rice onions where raw EW one out 5

This is the epitome of a Chinese restaurant: kids doing homework in the dining area, a faded illuminated menu hanging behind the counter. My order is always correct, the family running it is always kind, and the food is consistently good.

I do not know how this restaurant received 3.8 stars. To give this restaurant a fair shot I ordered multiple items off the menu in the span of 3 weeks to make sure it wasn’t just a bad day in the kitchen. Ordered: Pot stickers, beef short ribs, orange chicken, chicken lo mein, and sweet / sour pork. The pot stickers were slightly below average as they were not packed with much filling. The orange chicken should’ve been called the orange batter because the chicken was shaved and hammered so thin that I had to verify if it even existed at its core. The chicken was noticeable in some bites because it was jerky-like, screaming to me that it was either old or fried, frozen and refried. The food is terrible. Do not go. I feel bad for leaving such a bad review but everything I bought is going straight into the trash. The hot and sour soup is disgusting. I think it’s the same stuff they use when they make your garlic chicken. Which had no taste of Garlic. It was a sweet and sour sauce The chicken lo mein Maybe had five pieces of chicken I must say their pancake scallion was good. And the lady at the front she was very sweet, but other than that really save your money. And their fried rice oh my goodness no. I’ve given up on Chinese food for good in Newport
