Golden Rotisserie

Quaint, casual Mexican eatery located next to the DMV office in downtown Truckee. The rotisserie chicken was tasty, but the tri-tip was a bit bland without the hot sauce. Beware, the hot sauce has a serious kick to it! Fast and friendly service. Large free parking lot shared with other local businesses. Good place for a quick bite.

Great tacos!! The chicken & beef are amazing. Love the guacamole & fresh chips. I did not like the green salsa. It has a lot of vinegar. Don't understand why there was vinegar in it in the first place. Great place. Great food. Highly recommend. Just stay away from that green salsa.

The food was good and portions were large for the price. The food came out sooner than expected 👍🏼 The beans could be better, it tasted as if it came from the can and not authentic.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Golden Rotisserie absolutely blew us away! We came in as a hungry family of four and they did not let us down one bit. The whole chicken was cooked to perfection, tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The sides were just as impressive, the rice was spot on and the potato salad was out of this world, probably one of the best we’ve ever had. We also tried the tri tip, a sandwich, and the quesadilla de al pastor, and every single bite was delicious. You can tell they put real care into everything they make. On top of the amazing food, the people working there were super nice and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Best food in town. They are fast delicious and a true hidden gem. I would 100% recommend the tri tip burrito with habanero salsa
