Golden Chick

Very good chicken tenders with perfect breading layer . We enjoy the spicy tender dipped in creamy white gravy. Tenders are Sooo delicious you don’t need the gravy. The yeast rolls are soft And addictive.

When I arrived at golden chick on 1/13/2026, about 7:30, I observed several issues. First off, I stood there and had to ask to have my order taken. Once I placed my order it was interesting to watch the curly headed girl by the register, talking and laughing with her friend, both leaning over the counter, scrolling on an iPad, talking something about graduation. It appeared the teenage boy with curly hair was the only other staff working. Unfortunately, I was not the only one to witness this, as there was another family already eating. I would definitely think this situation warrants some attention, as I would like to think Mr. Morgan would not approve of this to be the face of his establishment. Thank you.

Braxton and Roxy had great service. Bathrooms and food area was very clean and food was amazing.

I love their crispy chicken!! IMO, they serve up the perfect chicken tender! Hubbs and I both had the tender basket. One of us got the corn fritters/corn bites, and the other got the jalapeño bites. Both sides were really good. All the food was really fresh and hot! Hubbs was thrilled to see they had a chocolate chip cookie on the menu, and he said it was good. I picked up the state fair mini funnel cake. It was the crispiest funnel cake I've ever had. It was tasty, and it was the perfect size - we even shared it! The restrooms were clean, although I was surprised to see a single bathroom for each of sex. The restaurant itself is beautiful and looks relatively new. Just facts: mobile order at 230pm for a pickup at 6pm. Order was not ready till 642pm. 8 other customers ordered in store and received food before my order was completed. After asking about my order at 630pm, said waiting in bread to finish and be 2 more minutes. Get home and missing 1 family mash potatoes and 1 side of Mac and cheese. Called to speak with manager and said she is busy and hung up on me. I'll let you decide if this is good service.
