Goldberg's Famous Deli & Restaurant

My first time in Westhampton and I have been here for a week. When I say that have been to this place almost every day this week, I’m not kidding! The first day I had a bagel with lox, tomato, cucumber and scallion cream cheese. It was delicious! I also had a Ruben sandwich. The meat was perfect and piled high. I’m currently eating the French toast with fresh fruit and it is hands down the best I’ve had. The fruit is fresh and sweet! I’m not sure what kind of bread they use but it made the most perfect slices. I’ve also had the egg salad & the tuna salad both of which were really yummy! Even when the place was busy the staff was friendly and fast. If you find yourself in the area, do not pass up the chance to eat here! Line was smooth…fast to order but not too fast to rush the wrong order. Staff super friendly, you could tell there’s a reason the bagels taste the way they do. The bagels… strong character, undeniably high integrity dough, and peak sandwich craftsmanship. I left Goldberg’s feeling refreshed, energized, and inspired to take on the day. Seriously, best BEC sandwich I had in a LONG time. Great value, atmosphere, and all around experience

OVERRATED AND NOT WORTH UR TIME. Ordered an egg and turkey and they got my order wrong by adding a ton of cheese. Couldn’t eat it and didn’t want to go back in because they gave my boyfriend major attitude when he went back in to check on the order and ti pick up the order/pay. I’m being generous when I say the food was a two. Just because my boyfriend thought his BEC bagel was fine. I’ve had better bagels and they’re definitely not worth the hour wait.

I just walked out of this place. The staff, rude and ignoring me, it was my first time there and I should have walked out. Toasted bagel with butter and a half dozen. Handed to me altogether in one bag, great - no problem. I pull over a little further down the parking lot and open the toasted buttered bagel. It is swimming in butter, so much that you can see the still solid butter on it. Coming from the City, Suffolk has yet to give me a good bagel - but this place was so bad I actually threw the whole bag out and wrote a review. Please treat a customer with some respect and make them feel welcomed. I see now what you are famous for.

This place has zero affiliation with the real deal Goldbergs! It's a complete rip-off and doesn't offer the same quality or charm. Please do not waste your time here as the staff is rude and all you need to do is make a 10-minute trek to one of the real deal locations that was founded in the 1940s. I don't enjoy writing bad reviews, but I thought it was necessary as I mistakenly went here thinking it was affiliated and was hugely disappointed. Bagels are stale just like the people who work here. Why not just call it the "West Hampton bagel shop"? As small business owner myself. You should be ashamed of yourself for trying to ride the coattails of another local business.
