Let’s do it. We went i’m Valentine’s Day a 2 Hour Dr. really excited so much hype about it on Instagram. What they failed to tell you is that this establishment does not serve liquor so it’s BYOB which isn’t a problem. The service was good until it wasn’t. We were seated right away the party that we were going with was running late but that was OK. They waited for them and didn’t make us give up our table, so thank you for that. They had a special Valentine’s Day menu and they had the regular menu. I went for the seafood explosion and whatever you call the plate. Giovanni’s – First Visit & Definitely Not the Last! This was my first time dining at Giovanni’s, and it absolutely did not disappoint. My family and I have been going to Joe’s for over 20 years, so when they opened the restaurant, I honestly thought it would just be an extension of the deli. I was wrong — it’s so much more. From the moment we walked in, the food, the service, and the overall vibe were amazing. Everything felt elevated and thoughtfully done. The staff checked on us multiple times to make sure we were enjoying everything, and the manager even came over to introduce herself and start a friendly conversation, which was such a nice, personal touch. First timer. Food was excellent. Meatballs appetizer, Vodka Chicken Parm and Pork Chop. Chicken Parm was very thin, crispy, huge portion. Vodka sauce was creamy and flavorful. Pork chop was cooked perfectly, with delicious sausage, peppers and onions. Tables are crammed into one large, echoing room. You are very very close to neighboring tables and your chair is constantly bumped by people walking by. The service was not good. Our server was polite, knowledgeable and seemed like he was trying his best, however he had too many tables and was spread too thin. He was very hard to get a hold of in between courses and while waiting for the check. He was frantic, to the point that I think something else was going on and I’ll leave it at that. Made a dinner reservation for 2 and this place was great, we weren't in the main dining area but there was a separate room that we were in with another group of 9 that were dining in. (Great group by the way) So it was a somewhat non expected private setting we had which was cool. The food, no complaints at all. Nonnas Meatballs were delicious. I had the Vodka Chicken Parmigiana and I was NOT expecting that portion size. The waiter brought it out and I said "This the portion size for 3 people?" He laughed lol but it was very good. My wife has the pork chop with the sausage and peppers and mashed potatoes, which see said was good but just a lil too salty for her. (The glaze) But overall, will definitely go again...

Food is excellent! Calamari and homemade pasta is amazing! Steak was also very good, and they were so accommodating as we asked for roasted potatoes instead of mashed for a side and didn't make us feel bad about making the sub. Service was great! Definitely would come back.
