George & Louie's Seafood Restaurant

George & Louie's is my go to place in Thomasville for dinner. I spend a bit of time at the counter talking with George, the owner, getting a bit of history of the place. He is always there and will make sure to stop by your table. This visit I had the fried shrimp with two sides. Shrimp were large and perfectly cooked. Also came with a container of chili and tartar sauce. My sides were cole slaw which was very very good. My other side was cheese grits, which should have been served hotter. The dinner also came with hush puppies which were very good. I highly recommend this very long standing establishment.

Husband was busy in a meeting and I meandered to this place as it was in close proximity to my hotel. The Greek Salad was awesome and the people are super kind. The owner makes rounds to make sure folks are happy. It was a wonderful lunch.

Delicious food. Friendly staff and quick to please the customer. The shrimp 🍤 dinner was delicious! Don't miss out on the fried green tomatoes! Cooked perfectly! Not greasy! The fish gyros was huge! I couldn't eat all of it. Servings were large. Prices are reasonable. The owner walks around speaking with diners to ensure customers are pleased!

hands down the best fish sandwich i’ve ever had! fried green tomatoes were also excellent. the owner is so sweet, we will definitely be back!!

We celebrated my son’s birthday there. The manager was very attentive, friendly and helpful. Not only the manager but the whole staff. George was so friendly and sweet. I gave them a short notice (2 hours) and when we got there they had reserved a table for us. They also stored our cake for us. Awesome place!!! Let me tell you about the food. Awesome as well!! We will definitely be returning soon. Thank you everyone there for helping make my son’s birthday special.
