Gentilly Wings & Seafood

This restaurants shares a parking lot with a gas station, but I wouldnt call it gas station food. Food and service was A+. We had the fried chicken, dragon wings, fried fish and shrimp plate with fried rice, red beans and rice, gumbo, and turkey wing. Everything cost less than $50. The food was so good we went back before leaving NOLA and got gumbo and crab boudin for family to have. I poured dragon sauce from the wings over my fried rice and it just elevated it even higher. We will stop here every time we visit. There is indoor seating but we took ours to go.

🔥🔥 HELL YEAH!🔥🔥 Absolutely fire. One of the best counters in the city without a doubt. People talk about this place and you gotta listen. Best catfish plate around, I got it with rice and fries and they had to tape the box closed it was so much food 🤣 That’s love. Red dragon wings were some of the best wings I’ve found. Prices are right, too. Can’t recommend enough. One love Jah bless 😎

They have generous portions for very reasonable prices, the food is cooked to perfection, and spiced appropriately. The only fault they have is they can get really busy and they won't answer the phone for pick up orders or have an option to do online orders. I waited about 20min for my food durring a dinner rush but it was well worth the flavors and pricing. Do yourself a favor and get double fried rice when asked what 2 sides you would like.

I come to New Orleans 3 times a year from Texas and this is a place I stop by first! Food is full of flavor. The red beans and rice, gumbo, dragon wings, shrimp po boy was delicious. If you are in the area, a must try. Bobby and the staff were great!

When I went in, I was told the food would be good by someone outside. Food came up fresh, correct, and fast. The owner or person taking my order was kind , family vibed , and even charged my dead phone while I waited on my order. NOW THE FOOD SMACKED. 10/0 UPDATE IM OFFICIALLY ADDICTED. trying mostly everything on menu and everything is 10/10 !!!! Good people for real! Addicted to this spot. My go to for dinner after work now. I’m usually super picky about my food. The wings tasted different in the best way. Statement sauce - thick high quality chicken wings. And the CRAWFISH NICE SIZE - seasoning on point. Juice of the crawfish on point. SO GOOD I DIDNT EVEN NEED DIP. I WILL BE BACK
