Gabe’s Bagels

Our go to for best bagels in the area. Never had any attitude like others mentioned but I if I did it would be worth for the quality of the bagels.

Grabbed a pre-5:30 a.m. spicy Taylor ham, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel from Gabe’s Bagels and they nailed it. Called in the order and it was ready and waiting when I walked in five minutes later. The bagel was soft and warm with a nice shell, the cheese was perfectly melted over the Taylor ham and egg. They used Red Hot instead of my preferred Tabasco. Paired with a hot cup of tea, it absolutely hit the spot.

Gabe’s Bagels in Chatham Township makes the best bagels in Morris County. They are soft and so fresh….and larger than your average bagel.Their deli selections and eggs dishes are fantastic. Everyone who works there is always busy keeping the place running smoothly. Love the place!

Gabe’s is a staple in our area. It’s shocking to see the hate that this establishment receives. My grandkids always want bagels from Gabe’s upon visiting for breakfast. A crunchy warm outside and doughy touch inside make for a delicious meal. The fast paced deli counter AND separate bagel counter both run as well oiled machines. People can harp on wait times and crowding but clearly it speaks to the product. P.S. get the cinnamon raisin. Ciao!

Simply the freshest bagels that don't feel heavy in the stomach. We also love their croissants and many flavored muffins. Gabe's also offers Udi's gluten free bagels, which I get for hubby who has MS ( they somehow taste better than the ones I get from the supermarket). Gabe's do a wonderful job making blended cream cheeses; our favorites are sweet raisin cream cheese , chive cream cheese, and lox spread which is cream cheese with chunky pieces of lox. They are a friendly staff, and they have seating indoors and outdoors under the mall's overhang.
