I recently stopped by Funchos on Main Street in Westhampton Beach for a casual lunch and my experience was overall enjoyable, though with a few minor caveats. The location is tucked away just off the main drag, giving it a relaxed, local-vibe that’s refreshing in the Hamptons. Upon entering, I was struck by how friendly the staff were and how the menu offered an approachable mix of Tex-Mex style fare—burritos, tacos, quesadillas, and the like. Funchos has amazing food but I wish you could buy a cocktail and it's not clear if it's a service restaurant or a take out. Made the atmosphere seem a little weird. Great food though and nice staff.

I had a deeply disappointing experience at Funchos in Westhampton Beach. Despite explicitly stating my dairy allergy and confirming four times with the staff that no cheese or cream would be in my tacos, I discovered small amounts of cheese hidden under the meat in one of them when I got home. When I called to address the issue, the manager denied the presence of cheese, and only after persistent questioning did the chef admit to adding a small amount. This level of carelessness regarding food allergies is unacceptable and puts customers at serious risk. I will not be returning and would advise others with allergies to be cautious.

Food is average. The most disturbing thing that is this day and age there is no recycling at all. Even returnable glass bottles are thrown out in the trash. They try and fool you to think they are eco freindly by giving wood utensils. But when I asked why they don't recycle, they said "we don't have the time - its too much work". Lazy people. It's the same amount of work - you just need 2 separate containers.
