Fuji Steak House

This place is disgusting. Seriously *do not come here* I never leave bad reviews because I care deeply about small businesses. This business should be shut down by the board of health. “This business should be shut down by the board of health.” We requested a new table as our table had a brown liquid dripping onto our plates. The exhaust fan was actively dripping a brown liquid. Into our plates. We had to ask to be moved. They blamed ice dams. I’ve never experienced this level of unsanitary conditions nor lack of hospitality. At the risk of sounding dramatic, it is entirely disgusting. Our servers were rude. The food was gross. The hibachi chef was talentless, dropping eggs and eggshells into our food. The utensil handles (where his hands held) sat on the grill where our food was cooked.

Food is excellent, super tasty! Even miso that normally you would almost skip, but this goes in like into dry soil) A little bit pricier than you expect from local hibachi but out of 3-4 different hibachi we visited, this is our favorite now!

We decided to try here for the first time for hibachi. The atmosphere was nice. The prices were high for the small portions of food, which is why I'm giving only 3 stars. There is an upcharge if you want both noodles and rice. I'm comparing this to Sake in Mansfield, MA, where there are large portions and everything is included for around the same price. The food was good and we enjoyed the meal otherwise. They can accommodate a gluten free option.

The food is good. Nothing special. Our chef pretty much cooked our food. He was pretty boring and didnt entertain much. They charge an extra 3 dollars for fried rice substitute. We asked for take out boxes and the waitress threw them on the grill and they melted together 😂😂

Despite having a reservation for hibachi we waited 35 minutes after our reservation time in a very crowded entryway for our table. The restaurant was severly overbooked, and the wait/kitchen staff rushed around hectically trying to manage in-person and to-go customers. They sat our hibachi table with 10 people, more than could comfortably fit, and difficult for the chef to manage. Because of the large number of people the chef struggled to manage timing, overcooking all of the proteins. This was our first and last visit to this restaurant.
