Needham Free Public Library

Beautiful building. Plenty of desks and 2 beautiful quiet reading rooms. Very well located across from the high school.

I have been going to this library since I was a little kid in the early 1970s. It has only gotten better. I did not realize how fortunate Needham is to have such a good public library until I lived in many other towns and cities that do not have such amazing public resources.

Well maintained library with three private rooms that can be reserved.

This library is unique. Staff members here are always willing to help. There's also local residents who selflessly offer their help as well. I was able to search for work and successfully achieve that with the combined efforts of these great people. Thank you so very much.

Fantastic library! Very helpful and friendly staff. Wide selection on site. If you're in a hurry or not feeling very social you can reserve a book online, pick it up in a special area, check it out yourself, and be on your way. But everyone is so nice, you'll miss out if you don't interact. Library friends have a good quantity and selection of books, CDs and DVDs for sale at the self-service sale area. But if you see something interesting, better get it now, because things do sell quickly. The Book Sale is going on now, and has a huge selection and great pricing of $1 and under. The last day is flat price for a bagful!
